It looks like there's an issue on Itch.io's end. A lot of devs are posting about their game files being corrupted upon download. Hopefully it gets resolved soon.
Hey! I don't mean to blow up your replies, this is the last time lol but it looks like the download is working again! (at least on my end). There's also an option to click "downloads not starting?" and it'll give you an alternate download. Thank you again for bringing this to my attention! :)
Hello, I played this game and I really enjoyed it! Although, I don't know what happened but I couldn't get up the first time after eating the burger so I had to replay it to proceed, but aside that, it was great, good work :)
Thank you so much! :) Ahh, depending on which version you played in the last couple days, I think I may have already patched that bug in my most recent update, but I'll double check :)
This was very interesting! I didn't realise this was a demo! Be looking forward to seeing more. Very eerie and short! Here is my playthrough with final thoughts at the end.
This was an awesome demo! Great atmosphere and sound effects, the tension built nicely with the puzzles not being to annoying! The art for the cover and intro was super inspired, super 80s and retro it made me think of some old horror movies! I recommend completely! Here is my gameplay video!
I've got to admit, the cool art design for the cover of this game reminded me of those glorious 80's style horror flicks like 'House,' and 'Fright Night' - so I jumped on this faster than SSSniperwolf takes to copy her thumbnails from other YouTubers.
Instantly had me hooked from the opening title sequence. Enjoyed the gameplay mechanics and the puzzle with the locked front door and shed were inspired. Felt that there was a distinct connection with the recent film 'Barbarian,' which is no bad thing and enjoyed where this was going.
Even had a little jump scare that got me.
This was indeed a case of 'left me wanting more' and the demo ended in the most tantalising/frustrating way possible. Guess that means I'll have to look out for the full version when it's released, eh?
Only criticisms I would highlight for the dev: Maybe at some point add an inclusion of subtitles, and would have liked to know more about the main protagonist. A bit of lore would enrich the experience and immerse the player into what's occurring in the cabin.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the feedback. There will be more lore/story in the final game as well as fixed subtitles! No release date planned just yet but it'll be coming soon! And it is undoubtedly inspired by Barbarian, I was a big fan of that movie lol but the story will take a completely different direction.
if you interact with an object while moving (in my case, with a note and a phone), the character continues to move. I had to start the game again 2 times because of this bug because I couldn't remove the note. Despite this, I really liked this horror. Excellent screamers. I was even scared when the name of the game suddenly appeared on the full screen :D
Also I'm glad the title card got someone because I was hoping it would catch some people off guard :P lol (p.s. the interaction bug has been fixed in the most recent downloadable version, thanks again for bringing it to my attention)
So far so good. Definitely wanted to see what was under the house.
One bug I issued: You can answer the phone even when it doesn't ring and trigger *that* scene. I did that the first time I tried this. Decided to pick up the phone right when I came in and had no idea what was happening haha. Just wanted to let you know.
Awh man, I know exactly why that happened, and it's not even bug... lol added one extra line of code to make it easier for me to debug the game and get through it quicker... forgot to delete that line haha uploading the fixed version now! I appreciate the feedback! Thank you so much!

Hello, I will be playing this live tomorrow 11/23 around 2-3 PM EST =D.
The game throws an error when extracting it, it says that the file is damaged

That was good!
Thank you!!
make version rar o zip ?
Good idea! I thought since it's only one file, it wouldn't really be necessary, but I assume it's a bit cleaner either way lol
ok
the game is now uploaded as a Zip file, thanks for the suggestion again!
